Kids Comfort Furniture offers the organic finish. They say the organic finish is
derived from natural & organic materials from plants, minerals & other natural
raw ingredients. Every piece is finished by hand rubbing it with two coats of
organic wood finish in your choice of natural, medium or dark colors. Their stains and finishes are recommended by Green Seals & are

Not just the finishes are organic.
Solid wood materials only are used throughout: fronts, tops, sides, bottoms,
backers, drawer bottoms, braces and partitions. There is absolutely no plywood
or particle board used anywhere! The glue used in assembling Kid’s Comfort
Organic products is not totally chemical free but it is water-based with a very
low chemical content. The only reason they use this glue is lack of any organic
wood glues. They are committed to upgrading as organic glues are developed. |
